Economics on the road?

Since the day before yesterday I’ve actually recieved an offer to help a friend set up a website for 10$/month after he was introduced to this one so being a digital nomad might not be as far away as I thought haha ๐Ÿ™‚
I also mentioned pitching sponsorships last time and I am still working on how and what to write to gain the support of bigger companies and in my research i found a really detailed list of what to think about. It was really long so you will have to read it in “practical sponsorship ideas“. Even though I havn’t yet getting into it completly yet, this list got me thinking bigger than just cheaper equipment from local stores. It might seem obvious to a lot of people but what about insurances, cellphone subscription, or what about this blog? Maybe instead of lowering costs for equipment, there is a possibility to have all our expenses cut ๐Ÿ˜€
I will get back to you regarding wich companies you should revalue for your selection ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have also gone through a bunch of websites for selling photos, it might be hard and difficult but why not try it! I will have loads of pictures that might generate a revenue. Following are the websites i think is the best:

Alamy50% royalties and no exclusivity
Shutterstock30% of sale and keep copyright
PhotoMoolahTargeted photocontests with awards between 100$ and 500$
Fotolia20 – 45% royalties and it is integrated in Adobe

In addition to this I am also checking out som ads and commercial and hopefully I can make a dollar or so. Sometimes it feels like it all revolve around the money and I have to remind myself why we are doing this trip and that we actually are leaving the constant stress of money. I still find the subject interesting though and will keep writing about it for those of you who also finds it interesting.

Clara is sitting beside me and is freaking out a little bit! She has constantly been stating that the idea of this journey is just starting to settle in her mind for weeks now. Today she begins her everyday-visualisation to make possibilities feel closer and more optional. She is DEFINETLY ready to leave her present life for the life as a voyager, or at least I hope so ๐Ÿ˜€
Clara freaking out is all about the insecurity and fear of losing a steady income for sure but is beginning to open her eyes for other ways. Recently she found “SaleHoo” that is like a digital platform for you to sell other companies products from their warehouses. She is now very excited about starting a webshop
